I’m running into issues exporting to open a USDZ file in an augmented reality viewer. For the most part, the object shows up, but several faces are not showing up. Any suggestions? The Model is imported from a STEP file.
Could it be that the normals are facing the wrong direction? For KeyShot I don’t think that’s a big issue and you’ll see objects also from the other side. But most real time viewers see faces only from one side and if you look at the other side they appear invisible.
So basically the faces are there but the normals face the wrong direction so they appear invisible from the viewers perspective. It’s a guess but you could check it with such a face selecting the mesh and do edit normals. The blue is the invisible side if I’m correct and green the visible side.
